Should you be eating yogurt now? Isn’t that acidic?

I’m suffering from a stomach flu since yesterday, and when I told Nisandeh I was going to eat some, this is what he asked me.

I don’t know if yoghurt is good or bad, when I’m having stomach flu. What I do know, is that my body knows so much better what I should have and especially what I shouldn’t have, than my mind does.

It processed really well and I’m feeling a lot better now.

In the past, I had a lot of doubts on what I should eat, or if what I did was actually improving my health. Till I talked about it with Nisandeh. (stay with me)

Before I met Nisandeh and Vered, I suffered from an autoimmune disease, called Ulcerative Colitis. It’s the annoying little sister of Crohn’s disease.

When I started working with them, I realized quickly that, whenever I visited them, I didn’t have any symptoms at all, and the moment I returned home, I suffered from severe attacks of inflammation again.

I started to change my diet rigorously. I started to eat only fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds and unprocessed stuff.

I deleted dairy, wheat, meat and sugar (I already deleted that).

Step by step, I added again the things I skipped, trying to listen to my body what it could and could not take well.

Dairy was fine as long as I didn’t overdo it.

Meat- I tried to eat meat again and my body so didn’t want it anymore! I didn’t eat much meat, but during the holidays a good deer steak, I loved that… but even this formerly delicious treat was not something my body wanted me to have.

One day I ate wheat again. And I immediately suffered again.

Since that day I skipped wheat from my diet, and I am doing wonderfully. I’m feeling energetic and sharp. I never had an inflammatory attack, ever since!

Thanks to Nisandeh- who taught me how to really listen to my body.

There was one thing though, that didn’t work. I was always cold.

So, 2 months ago, I decided to look for another change in my diet. Funny enough, at exactly the same time, Nisandeh and Vered had decided to go for a similar change, so we could exchange recipes and show off with what we made.

Right now- I am never cold anymore. I do eat meat again, sometimes, when my body asks for it.

I know exactly what my body needs and doesn’t need.

Nisandeh shared with me 10 concepts that help me navigate my life when it comes to health.

Every time, when I am in doubt, I just remind myself of them and simply take the right decision.
