Day 15 – The V-factor

Hey challenger!

You might have heard me speaking about becoming an Enlightened Millionaire. It’s a concept I developed years ago, describing a person who is financially free, and earns more money then he or she needs – so (part of) the extra money he or she contributes towards making this world a better place.

I see becoming an Enlightened Millionaire, not so much as an end result, or a goal, but as a journey – in which you grow as a person in the process.

That journey has 15 steps/stages, which I describe in detail in the Enlightened Millionaire book and course.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT – DAY 15

For today’s challenge, I want to invite you to look at the first stage – having a BIG Vision.

To become an Enlightened Millionaire you must have a vision, which is bigger than yourself.

My vision is: “Creating a better world by empowering entrepreneurs to fulfill their greatest potential”

It reflects in:

  • the content I teach
  • the marketing material we distribute (blog posts, Facebook, LinkedIn…)
  • how I treat my team members (both paid and volunteers)
  • my birthday actions
  • etc

Big vision attracts clients as well as providers, employees, JV partners, media attention…

So, to get you started with creating (or clarifying) your BIG vision, I invite you to take a few minutes and write a detailed description of your legacy (how you have made a difference in the world) and share what you wrote with us in the comment box below.

 Nisandeh Neta

TIPS TO GET THE MAX OUT OF DAY 15

Pro Tip 1: Think beyond your current reality. Think of the legacy you want to leave and the mission you are taking on yourself. Start with the end in mind and envision your mission from there.

Pro Tip2: Help each other get your vision clearer. Read others’ comments and when you’re touched by a vision you read – let them know, when you can help them get it clearer – let them know… Together, we’re so much more powerful…

Go ahead and complete your assignment in the comment box below.

    YES it’s a journey …

My Big Vision is ‘creating a better world by empowering 55+ female entrepreneurs to remain financial independence / successful.’ I’m still working on my Big Vision. This is the first time I write 55+ and female …

Since the 70’s I have contributed to creating a better world by being a ‘board’ member of .(10.000+ hours) … and since the beginning of the 70’s my ambition was to be financially independent.

Last year I became a conscious social entrepreneur … I give 10% of my Business Income every month to a good cause and I contribute 8 hours a week as a board member to activities (50:50 women in political decision-making) of the largest umbrella organization of women’s associations in the European Union (EU).

I have created a better world by showing people that cancer is not an enemy they have to kill but a friend they should embrace. You can never die from cancer (the result of something) only from the cause that created cancer. When you remove the cause cancer has to go. Everything is energy and you cannot create health when you vibrate cancer. Like you cannot hear radio station X when your dial is tuned on Y. I have globally empowered people through my books and teachings with the result that everyone is vibrating on the frequency of vital health again and that there is no cancer on this planet anymore…

    What I’ve done so far:
I changed the mindset of women trapped in a complex relationship. I made them start caring more for themselves and get in touch with their intuition. I advised them how to open their eyes. And above all, I helped them with their doubts, since doubts are killing them (and a lot of other factors). But doubt is the strongest one of them all. I help them overcome doubt and make a decision. I have helped women with a complex divorce or their fear of divorce. I helped them to understand what they were in for and how to tackle their fears and difficulties. If there’s a will, there’s a way. And I realize that all of this is possible since I care for and listen to these ‘broken’ women. Women who lost their selves and want to become strong again, in control of their lives.

    What I wanna do more:
I wanna touch more harts of ‘broken’ women to let them listen to their inner voice. I wanna change their lives for the best and make them strong again, so they are in control and never to let go of that. That they become independent and feel that anything is possible if they wanna achieve that. Nobody is forcing them to just live life, they can change and start living. I wanna be their inspiration for a positive change of strength and decisiveness.

Mission: Inspire and empower ‘broken’ women by overcoming fear and doubt to get back in control of their lives.

If I understand the assignment correctly here is my legacy:
Due to the persistence of Total Body Balance, and specifically Dick Sandbergen, we can now say that the obesity epidemic is on its return, the numbers have gone down by 25% in the last 10 years.

“Life is a garden. Grow the flowers you love!” Bloemrijk tuinplan en harmonie voor plezier, inspiratie en energie!

My vision is that nature and our gardens provide us all the basics we need to live a happy, fulfilling, dynamic life. Being aware and appreciating the mere beauty of nature in all its aspects makes a huge difference in our lives. We will instantly open up our hearts and feel connected. Thus we will nourish and take care of our surroundings. We will experience energy, inspiration and joy in our gardens and love our loved ones and beyond.

My big, big dream is to found a community and online platform that nourishes and supports our ‘natural well being’ by ‘shining light’ on creative home & garden lovers, lifestyle & Feng Shui, ‘aware’ natural health & vitality professionals and conscious, energetic, holistic ‘communication’ entrepreneurs. An online platform that shows the abundance and diversity of ‘Life is a garden. Grow the flowers you love!’, that educates and connects.

Let me know if and how such a community and platform resonates with you.
Are you an entrepreneur that would love to be part of this community?

My vision is to create a world that is worth to give to our children and their children. The way I contribute to that is by helping women to know what they want, to communicate that in the right way, to claim their birthright and live their lives. When they step out of their ‘corset’ of obligations, norms and values that are restrictive, live becomes so much better. An experience of freedom, happiness and so on. When we as women live that it will spread and I have the wish that young woman and girls don’t get stuck in a ‘corset’ ever in the future. The same applies for men, but they are not in my target audience.

Make the parental journey more successful by teaching parents how they can transform so they and their children can fulfill their potential and thrive!

Bring more consciousness that the way we raise children is not chosen so consciously but often automatically copied and it’s often a way that inherts more conflicts and stress with our children because we take the luggage of our own raising en project it on our kids.

This will reflect on how people engage with others, so as a result this world will become a better world.

I feel that I also have a mission to help children (who are the future) to live their full potential, especially those children that are brought up in difficult circumstances (poverty, abuse, …) Right now, I do not see how, but I am sure it will reveal itself when the time is right.

Hi there, here’s my big vision!

I believe in a fertile, abundant world, where there is enough for everyone. I long for a better world with people who are in their creative power, of creators and explorers. To an openhearted place with resourcefulness and adventure, respect and meeting. Where people see and are being seen, and are finding and taking the room for it. Where people are truly free, deploying their own strengths efficiently and effectively, and keep developing themselves. Where we’re standing on the shoulders of giants and are much more agile through cooperation. This is the space I wish to create together, a legacy to the world and its future generations, and I believe it’s possible!

    > I have guided every day 1 person to find their unique path to health, to become whole again. That means 365 per year, 7.300 human beings.

    > I have inspired indirectly at least 7 persons every day to work on becoming whole again. That means a minimum of 51.100 human beings.

In total, I will have positively changed, transformed or raised more than 60.000 human beings! Wow! :-))

    * They understand that health is not about your idea of health, but of constantly finding your balance
    * They have the tools to do so
    * They feel lighter and have the energy to also create a more loving world.

With the money that I raise by doing this work I have become an Enlightened Millionaire and am able to change the lives of all the people here on Curacao. The children have a safe life and are cared for the way a child needs, to become a stable and joyful adult.

This wasn’t hard to think of since I already have this ‘dream’ for a while…

I want to become an expert in treating wild animals – especially for mental issues that are often still ignored – so I can help to give animals in zoo’s, but even more in sanctuaries abroad, a better life.
By treating both domestic and wild animals for mental problems due to the fact that they are kept by humans, I want to give animals a better life and raise awareness about the mental state and life of the animals we keep.
By raising this awareness I want to help create a better world for animals, both domestic and wild. A world in which the mental and emotional life of animals is considered normal and important to keep in mind, no matter how we interact with animals.

What my legacy so far is (actual question)…
I made a difference in the world by deciding to be me. Getting out of the closet and daring to show me and my intentions. Although not always succeeding I inspired people to change little behaviors (like cycle to school instead of driving a car, lowering the heather, asking angles for help and daring to stand up and live your life purpose) just by modeling it.

At this moment I’m doing a personal fear of failure challenge on FB. I’m singing life the songs that people have requested when I introduced my challenge. It’s awful!

Beforehand I didn’t realize that dealing with fear would involve dealing with defense mechanisms and discovering illusions (I seriously thought they liked my clownesk jokes, but now I found out that this survival mask is NOT appreciated by people who really see and like me.) But most of all… that it would inspire people to deal with their own fear of failure!

Making a better world really, truly IS about bettering yourself.

You’re most welcome to follow my path of blood, sweat and fear on my timeline.

    Love,

In 2012 I wrote a letter to Nelson Mandela and delivered it to his house. Unfortunately, he was not there and this was the closest I ever came to Mandela; on his doorstep. I promised him that I would do whatever is in my power to promote his legacy and country in a positive way. Hence I started the travel magazine OOG VOOR AFRIKA (EYE OF AFRICA). This year we celebrated 5 years OOG and I was so fortunate to get Christo Brand, Mandela’s warder from Robben Island who became his friend and writer of the book Doing life with Mandela to the Netherlands to do a series of lectures. I even managed to get him at the RTL Late Night Show. My vision is to give the ‘black and lost continent’ a positive voice.

However, when I see and read this so much on the Internet, it doesn’t touch me anymore. Because ‘the world’ is quite big and what makes it ‘better’ is just a point of view. Our ancestors worked really hard to build the society as it is now, they too wanted a better world for their offspring. I still need a good English translation of the vision, but it would be something like this:

Inspire and guide future entrepreneurs to discover and deliver their own unique contribution to make the world a better place

It’s my belief that everybody has his own unique talents and gifts that he/she needs to share with the world. But often we are not aware of them, because we identify too much with the story we’ve been telling ourselves for many years. “I’m a salesperson”, “I’m a nurse”, etc, we’re scared of letting go of the past (fear of closing the door as I call it) or fear the future (what if I won’t earn enough, what if it’s the wrong choice, etc).

By letting go of the story and go within we can find our true purpose in life. The next step for my target audience is to monetize that purpose as an entrepreneur.

If we all live true to our purpose, it would greatly reduce the number of unhappy employees, stressed people, burnouts and angry & frustrated people on the planet. Imagine the savings we’ll have on healthcare costs alone 😉

My mission is to create a global community of 100.000 self-actualized entrepreneurs that contribute to a better world in their own unique way

      Hey Bas,

      A heart-centred economy sounds good.

But who do you mean by with “their builders”? You mean that literally like to construction companies? Or do you mean the builders of the heart-centred economy? If the latter, what qualifies a person to be a builder?

I’m very interested as I’m very worried about how our current economy works and the damage it causes to our individual lives and the world at large.

        Thanks, Timon!
Who builds any economy? who builds a new economy?
Innovative leaders, change agents, in short, conscious entrepreneurs. I love to call them heart-centered leaders.
When compassion becomes the ultimate filter to our decision making, all business transactions will become a force for good.
        Exciting, isn’t it?

          Hi Blanca,

Very clear now. Where can I follow you? Very interesting to see what you have in mind specifically and your work.

I’m not sure whether compassion as the ultimate filter would be such a good idea, but I love to hear more about it. What is most important to me is the freedom of choice. Each person makes an economic decision based on their own filters, ideas and criteria.
For some that might be compassion, others might have other criteria.

However, within the current economic system, which is heavily guided by the laws of countries and large economic institutions such as the ECB and FED, there are flaws. These flaws make it so that short-term profitability become almost the sole filter, which is very damaging to our collective wealth.

Anyway, this is not the place for an economic/philosophic discussion.
But again, would love to follow your work or get in touch.

I want to make information available in people’s mother tongue, because I think they have the right to make informed decisions. This is why I became a translator.

      Hi Silvie,

That’s a beautiful goal you have there!
Maybe you can formulate your mission even broader. You want to live in a world where everybody has access to all the information (?) in their mother tongue.

… at this point, I’m already thinking in silence for two minutes. Because what I say and what you mean are actually the same, I think. And yet it feels different to me. Perhaps it’s the point of view. You phrase it from your own point of view: you want to make information available. My point of view is the helicopter view: there’s a world where all the information is available. It’s bigger. Maybe it’s not only making information available by translating, maybe in a few years from now, you’ll have an international company, TED-talks en monthly interviews with our MP. Or something like that 🙂

I hope I can clarify the difference here. Anyway: go for it!

      Have a nice day,
      Mirjam

        Hi Mirjam,

Thanks for your valuable contribution. I like your way of saying it. That’s exactly what I was trying to say, but in a better way!

    My vision:

Create synergy in the world by empowering employees and managers and introducing a clear common goal.

Right now I’m focused on the Dredging Industry, but I want to make it broader in the future.

        Hi Sylvia,

        A good question.

I have found that often there is a lot of conflict in companies. The common goal of the company is not well understood or not communicated clearly to all the employees or sometimes not even to middle-managers.
As a result, everyone has his or her own interpretation and subsequently acts differently.
By communicating the goal clearly to all involved the actions of everyone can be aligned and as such, the result is much greater.
