Day 4

Nobody else is responsible for your happiness but you. And you are not responsible for anybody else’s happiness. This is the base of every healthy relationship.

But…

You can choose to make people around you happier.

Before I remind you what you’ll need to do, I’d like to ask you a simple question:

Who were the people that made a huge difference in your life?

It can be a friend, your mother, the person who decided to hire you, a person that listened to you when you were struggling.

What made the big difference? I bet that this person noticed you, really SAW you. This person saw your life, saw you-  a person with real problems, a person with potential and a person that needs to keep moving and growing.

And that makes all the difference. We all long to be seen.

Today I’m asking you to do exactly that. Show the people around you that you recognize their presence. I am asking you to give them that gift.

How?

Smile to every person you meet today. Acknowledge their presence.

If this seems too hard to you, then just nod and see what happens.

When you cross the street, stop looking down. Look people in the eyes, give a small nod, give a quick smile. Give the gift of noticing.

It might be exactly what the other person needs today.

Also, if you haven’t yet, take a moment to register for the implementation webinar. We’ll to discuss how to bring together all the things you learned in those videos and will show you how you can create your life by design.

P.S. I’d love to see what you decided to do during the day. I commit to be first: to greet everyone and be the first. Let me know below.

I just saw the video with today’s assignment and guess what. I already did the assignment today. When riding on my bike to my workout I greeted the people I came across, even though it was raining. I do this very often, it is so easy. YEAH SMILE !
